Further Diagnostics + Therapy
Within the framework of neurological and neurosurgical diagnostics, we have access to common imaging techniques (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET, and nuclear medicine procedures).
Through a well-established network, we have timely access to all the aforementioned examinations.
In our centre, we routinely offer electrophysiological tests such as EMG, NLG, and SEP as well as nerve sonography.
For effective and modern treatment, we also offer newer procedures such as Botox treatment for spasticity and selected pain syndromes, hyaluronic acid injections for certain joint disorders, autologous blood therapy, and soon also extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT).
Since we adhere to proven and guideline-based therapies, treatment costs are generally covered by statutory and private health insurance. However, the range of services may vary between different insurers which may occasionally result in the rejection of coverage. If this is the case, or in the case of patients who are not insured in Germany or the EU, we of course also offer the required or desired treatment as a self-pay service.
Electrophysiological tests (EMG, NLG, SEP)
Electrophysiology allows the detection of damage to nerves and the spinal cord, thereby influencing the planning of therapy. We perform electrophysiological procedures such as EMG/NLG/SEP examinations on-site. To conduct the correct tests and avoid unnecessary examinations, referrals for electrophysiological tests are made only after prior medical consultation and examination in our clinic.
Ultrasound diagnostics (joints, spine, nerve and duplex sonography)
Visualisation using ultrasound complements or replaces X-ray, CT, or MRI diagnostics and can depict many diseases more precisely.
For example, this method offers the possibility to accurately display and locate nerve compressions or changes, or to detect vascular constrictions in the brain-supplying vessels and initiate appropriate (possibly ultrasound-guided and thus radiation-free) therapies.
Enriched plasma for various pain syndromes
Autologous blood therapy has proven effective in the treatment of various joint and soft tissue conditions.
For this purpose, one or two syringes of blood are drawn and processed. The enriched autologous (from the same person) blood plasma is then injected into the areas to be treated.
This is usually repeated one to two times.

Various pain syndromes, such as migraines, and muscle tension/spasms can be treated very effectively with Botulinum Toxin.
We have extensive experience with this therapy method and apply it routinely.
