As part of the Help-in-Hand charity project, Dr Horaczek spent several days in Kampala, Uganda, strengthening collaboration with medical colleagues on site and preparing one of the next Help-in-Hand courses, planned for spring 2027.
The project aims to provide doctors from developing and resource-limited countries with practical training in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of back and neck pain, and to support them in integrating these methods sustainably into their everyday clinical practice.
During the visit, a close cooperation was agreed. We will soon welcome the first Ugandan doctors to Inter-Neuro in Berlin, where they will learn about and deepen their knowledge of the treatment methods and therapeutic approach of Help-in-Hand. They will then take this expertise back to Uganda and share it across the wider region.
In this way, the international Help-in-Hand network continues to grow – with the shared aim of making modern, minimally invasive pain treatment available in regions where access to such therapies is still limited.
